Terms of Service

1. Accepting the terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using Vaulty you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Vaulty on behalf of a family or organization, you confirm you are allowed to agree for them.

2. The service

Vaulty is a web app for recording income and expenses, managing budgets, bills, savings, and debts, and producing reports. The service runs on our servers.

Vaulty is a recording tool. We are not financial, tax, or legal advisers, and the figures in the app do not replace professional advice. The financial health score and insights are automatic calculations from the data you enter. Exchange rates are indicative and come from a third party source, so do not rely on them for transactions.

3. Your account and security

• You must be at least 18 years old. Users under 18 need our confirmation first (for example a parent or guardian's consent). Contact us before signing up.
• The information you give must be true, especially an email address you can access.
• Protect your password and devices. Turn on two step verification (2FA) on the plans that offer it.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us.
• Inside an organization, the owner sets member roles and is responsible for who is invited.

4. Trial, plans, and payment

Paid plans can be tried for 14 days without a credit card. Prices, limits, and features per plan are on the Pricing page and may change. A price change does not apply retroactively to a period you already paid for.

Payments are processed through Midtrans in rupiah. We do not store your card number or payment credentials.

Subscriptions do not renew automatically. You pay for each period, and we send a reminder before the period ends. You can stop any time, and your account stays active until the end of the period you paid for. When a trial or subscription ends, your data stays stored and can be downloaded, but adding or changing records needs an active plan. You can also move down to the Free plan.

5. Refunds

Payments already made are not refunded. If there is a system fault we can fix, we fix it and there is no refund. If there is a system fault we cannot fix that leaves the service unusable as intended, you get a full refund for the period in progress. Other cases, such as a billing mistake, we review case by case. Write to the contact below.

6. Your data

The financial data you enter stays yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process, and display it only to run the service for you. You can export your data to PDF and Excel and ask for your account to be deleted.

7. What you must not do

• Use Vaulty for anything unlawful, including money laundering or fraud.
• Try to break in, overload, or reach another account's data.
• Use automated scripts to scrape data or create accounts in bulk.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell our software.
• Upload harmful files or files you have no right to share.

8. Availability

We work to keep Vaulty running but do not promise an uninterrupted service. We sometimes do maintenance, and problems outside our control (server provider, network, or third parties) can happen. We back up data regularly, but keep your own copy of important reports.

9. Intellectual property

The software, design, names, and logos of Vaulty and Local Wallet belong to the service provider. These terms give you no rights to them other than the right to use the service under these terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk, and we notify you by email when possible. You can close your account at any time.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Vaulty is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect loss, or for financial decisions you make based on the figures in the app. For direct loss caused by the service, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. This limit does not remove rights that cannot be waived under the applicable law.

If a figure in the app is wrong because of a fault in our system, report it and we will fix it as soon as we can. A figure can also be wrong because the data entered was wrong, and that is the user's responsibility. Check reports again before using them for taxes, a loan application, or any other official purpose. Our liability for wrong figures stays limited as set out in this clause. Refunds for faults we cannot fix are covered in section 5.

12. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to hold the service provider harmless from third party claims arising from your breach of these terms or your use of Vaulty for anything unlawful. This does not apply to loss caused by our own fault or negligence.

13. Electronic communications

You agree that we may send service related emails: email verification, receipts and invoices, subscription reminders, announcements about changes to the service or these terms, and security notices. These important emails continue while your account is active. Optional notifications such as bill and budget reminders can be turned off in Settings. We do not sell or share your email address for third party advertising.

14. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Vaulty afterwards, you accept the new version.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute comes up, we first try to settle it by discussion. If that fails, it goes to the competent court under the applicable law.

16. Operator
